Captain and Crew

Ruxton Island, BC

Both Gregg and I have been outdoor enthusiasts all of our lives...Gregg in Ontario, until the age of about 28, when he moved out here to work as an engineer in the transportation sector and me, a born and bred BC gal having spent time in most corners and outposts of this beautiful province we call home.
We discovered when we met in 2006 that we have a great deal in common having both coached our childrens sports teams, participating in skiing, cycling, hiking and exercising our deep love and respect for the outdoors by "getting out to play" as often as possible.

While Gregg had some exposure to sailing prior to us getting together, we started sailing as a team in 2006 when we purchased a small 17' Siren class to see if this was a sport we could enjoy together over the next few years.  Gregg has been a big golfer in the summer, but hard as I try, I can't quite get the hang of it so this has been an activity we can enjoy together through the summer months while sailing here along the coast of British Columbia, Canada.  Our adventures have taken us through the San Juan Island of Washington State, USA as well as our beloved Gulf Islands off Victoria, BC and as far north as Desolation Sound.  We are truly blessed to live in  beautiful British Columbia!

Between us, we have 3 sons, 3 daughters and truly love being parents!  We look forward to having family and friends join us in various locales throughout our journey!
