Departing Fort Lauderdale Florida

Old Bahama Bay...fun fact, there is an interesting mix of old
and new, a fellow, yes, a very, very, very wealthy fellow
had an idea that he would spend a billion
or so and make this into a 5 star plus resort....and then
defaulted on his loan  :o(  so, the "owners" have taken on
the challenge of building this "required if you're sailing"
waypoint between Fort Lauderdale and The Abacos Islands.

Hmmmmmm....where should we go tomorrow?
 The options are unlimited!!!!  :o)

A grand celebration at Little Grand
Cay with Dave and Kathy (hamming it up
for the crowd) and Gil and Martine
....thank you so much for giving us
a real, warm Bahamian welcome with
 Champagne to celebrate the beginning
of our "big adventure"!  You guys
are amazing and have given us
confidence, great friendship and joi de vivre!
Our parting will be sad though
we will stay in touch with our
"cruising family"....love and hugs to you all!
